Aberdare Park is a small “street circuit” in Wales. The track is based in a small park, and the events take place once a year, when racing takes place. It’s a very short track, at just under 1 mile, and is used by motorcycles. The track itself is tight, narrow and twisty and because it runs through a park is lined with trees for the majority of the lap. It’s pretty unique in the fact that the park is actually a park, with flower beds and even a small lake in the middle! Watching the race is a surreal experience, the bikes are extremely close to the edge of the track, with the hay bails often just propped up against the trees rather than secured! Well worth a visit if you can.
