The Goodland Grand Prix is an annual Kart Race which takes place in Goodland, Northwest Indiana. It’s an event which was established in 2003, and has grown into a big event, probably the biggest sporting event in the town all year. The course is constructed in the heart of the town’s streets at roughly 7/10-mile long with eight turns, resembling a figure-8 look. It’s a great way to bring Karting to the public, getting everyone out to watch the event, which is always good!
It’s a track which weaves around the streets of Goodland, measuring roughly 0.7 Miles long with 8 corners. All of the corners on the track are of a 90 degree radius, with small straights connecting them. It can be tricky to overtake, you really need to force your competitor into a mistake.
