The L’Anneau du Rhin is a permanent race track, located in France. Opening in 1996, the track has been in use since, and today is the top race track in north eastern France. The venue has a main circuit and two smaller tracks which are used for testing. The main track is 4KM long, which can be separated into the 3KM main track and the 1.1KM test track. Built on a former hunting estate in the heart of a green forest, the Ring of the Rhine offers a fantastic setting, and is without doubt one of the most picturesque circuits in France. The track is used mainly for track days and private events, so does not have grandstands or large spectator areas, however they do have open days so the general public can visit the venue. It has been used in the past for Formula Renault, and for events like this, viewing from one od the banks is the best place to do so.
