Monticello Kart Track is a permanent Kart track which is located in Florida, USA. It’s an awesome venue with a huge track which has several different combinations. The track was designed by Pablo Montoya, father of the Indy 500, Formula 1 and Nascar winning driver Juan Pablo Montoya. As a track it’s on par with some of the best in the world; the main track measures over 1 Mile in length and provides a real challenge.
All of the corners are named after Formula 1 greats which include Senna, Schumacher, Stewart, Lauda and Prost. Three different layouts are available at the track, varying from the shortest 0.4 Mile 5 corner track to the large one, the 1.1 Mile 19 cornered International Kart track. The normal racing direction is clockwise however if needed section of the track can be driven in the opposite direction, bar the final two corners (18 and 19). The large layout is actually too long to comply with a lot of Karting regulations.
