Pueblo Motorsports Park

Puebelo Motorsports Park

Pueblo Motorsports Park is a multipurpose motorsport park, located near Pueblo, Colorado. Facilities at the track include a 2.2-mile road course and a drag strip, a small paved oval, a dirt oval, a motocross track as well as a BMX course. Looking at the history, it was constructed in the early 1970′s on land which was set aside for recreational uses. The first race that took place was on the road course was in June 1975. The dragstrip also opened that year.
Looking at the current course and facilities, the circuit does not have a huge amount in, and resembles Willow Springs with the minimalistic (Or plain!) space, a few stones and the odd grass tuft, but that is about it! Testing is available at around $25 a day, however there are no emergency vehicles on site. Pit facilities at the track include running water, well-maintained flush and pit toilets, and a food. One other notable feature, the start/finish straight is much wider than the rest of the track! Looking at the layout, most of the track is set up so each corner is individual, there is only one sequence of corners which is turns 6-7.
