Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace is the correct name for the track most know as Interlagos, located in Brazil. In 1940 the track was born, and has been in operation ever since. The circuit is in a natural bowl, so there are a lot of altitude changes throughout the lap. Some of the standout features of the track include the rain (when it rains, it rains hard!) and the fans. The Brazilians have had a lot to cheer about, and they love F1, very apparent each year!

The circuit has experienced numerous changes to the layout throughout the years, with the most recent being in the 1990′s. Today’s shortened layout is due to the new Fia rules which came in whereby tracks had to be under a certain distance. The lap is now quite short and is one of the few tracks to run anti clockwise.
