Moscow raceway is a brand new Race track situated near the village of Sheludkovo, around 80KM from Moscow in Russia. It’s a track which has been designed and developed to the highest FIA standard, with the aim of eventually hosting Formula 1 and MotoGP. 2012 will see the opening of the track and the first large race series visit, with the World Superbike Championship stopping by in August.
It’s rumoured to be costing well in the region of $4 billion, with work starting in 2008. The actual track layout has been completed in 2011, with the pit buildings and supporting infrastructure to be completed.
Looking at the track, it’s just over 4KM long with the longest straight measuring 873M. It’s an unusual track in that it’s designed to run in an anti clockwise direction, making it one of the few international venues to run that way (the other two are Interlagos and Istanbul )
Length: 4.07KM (2.53 Miles)
