Visting the Silverstone circuit in 2008, proved a superb experience. A friend and i went to see the silverstone grand prix back in 2008, the year when unfortunately for me Hamilton won.

The racing was fantastic and when the cars were at the other side of the track, we could follow their progress with the huge TV screen.

Paying extra for a grandstand seat was a good decision as i was on the first corner, and had shelter from the rain i thoroughly enjoyed the day, ¬†even if everything was a bit pricey, ¬£3 for a ¬†small portion of chips! take your own food if your name isn’t bill gates! I stayed at woodlands campsite which was incredibly close to the track and had decent facilities. the whole weekend was ace! if you get the chance to, go!
