Amazing race weekend and there was some great racing between Schumacherand Hamilton. We were in the Vedano stand which was looking across to the entrance to the pit lane, we purchased the 3 day ticket but didn’t arrive until Friday afternoon – missing the chance to watch at some of the other places around the track.

Travel to the circuit on Friday and Saturday was easy the Metro tickets were only 1.50 Euros with a train to Monza from Milan centrale station 2 Euros each way and free buses from monza station to the circuit. The only problem you’ve got then is the 1.5 mile walk through the main car park – nothing major normally but in 30 degree heat it was intense!

On race day the the trains from Milan central were free and the train drops you off at Lesmo station which is only a 10 minute walk to the circuit (much better) all directions for the circuit travel were excellent. Love the track and will be going back next year, although we’re going to get to the track much earlier so we can look around a bit more!
